Accommodation at Sindabezi is in five open-sided thatched chalets, including a honeymoon chalet, with amazing views across the river into the nearby national park. Each chalet is a unique experience and is very privately located enhancing the feeling of having truly escaped. The honeymoon chalet boasts its own private sandy beach and outdoor clawfoot bath right on the riverside.
Similar to its sister lodge, Tongabezi, activities at Sindabezi revolve around the river but there is a huge amount going on in the area and things are by no means limited to the water. No trip here is complete without a visit to the spectacular Victoria Falls, which can also be explored by helicopter or microlight for the more adventurous. There is also canoeing above the falls on the flat lazy section of the Zambezi and whitewater rafting below the falls where the river enters the stunning Batoka gorge and becomes an adrenalin junkies paradise. There are lots of opportunities for Game drives as well as visiting local villages and fishing on the river. Last but by no means least you can simply enjoy the setting and comforts of Sindabezi and forget about real life for a while. Game drives, bush walks and boating trips are all included in the price.
Sindabezi is located on an island in the Zambezi River in Zambia about 20km upstream from Victoria Falls and is easily accessed from Livingstone or Vic Falls. It is accessed by boat from Tongabezi.
