LATEST:Travel picture of the week - Hout Bay in Cape Town |
Adventure is practically a way of life in our part of the world. Since the Dutch first landed in Cape Town in 1652, there have been brave souls pushing the boundries throughout southern Africa. These days you don't have to worry about getting into battles with Zulu warriors or being attacked by a leopard, but there are still plenty of out of the way places to be explored and discovered. South Africa, Namibia and Mozambique in particular are all perfectly set up for a self-drive trip, with spectacular countryside and lots to exlpore along the way.
