LATEST:Whitewater Rafting on the Zambezi river |
Summer’s definitely arrived, and we’ve been treated to some absolutely amazing afternoons out this side on the Atlantic seaboard. I decided to take advantage of the weather and hire a kayak and go paddling along the coast from Three Anchor Bay to Bantry Bay. Really well worth the mission, and had I been fitter I would really liked to have paddled on further. Three anchor bay and the coast all the way along to Clifton is completely sheltered from the South Easter which can plague a lot of summer activities in Cape Town, making the section ideal for Kayaking. While I never got too far away from the shore, I still managed to spot a few dolphins cruising leisurely along nearby as well as quite a few seals lounging with their flippers out the water. If you’re looking for something relaxing to do, then this is an ideal opportunity to get out and enjoy the Cape Town summer.
