I very pleased to announce that I am now back in England and the weather is amazing! I landed 10 days ago to cloudy skies and rain and I immediately started cursing the English weather, fully prepared for a summer of cold rain. After spending 3 months cruising around in boardshorts and t-shirts in South Africa, it was a very unpleasant shock to the system to land in raining London.
But as I mentioned, the weather has turned and I am now sitting enjoying incredible sunshine at our head-office in the English countryside. I can honestly say that I am having serious withdrawals from our 3 months of travelling but what is keeping me sane is the prospect of the trips that we have coming up. Our July 5 week experience is just around the corner, followed shortly by our September 3 Month Experience and then our January trips. We are having such incredible response from all of you about our January trips that we are in the process of launching 2 new trips. Bookings are coming in thick and fast and we are looking good for running two 3 Month experiences in January 2009, details of which will be on our website asap. If you are thinking of joining us out in South Africa, make sure you get hold of us sooner, rather than later! The office number is 0800 030 4207 and our email is info@experiencepepper.co.uk.
Today, I am off to Repton for a Gap year fair. Things are busy in the Pepper office, with the installation of a whole new IT system, which should help to keep us on top of everything, so I’m quite looking forward to getting out of here for a bit. But busy is definitely a good thing. With a lot of exciting new projects in the process of being finalised for Pepper and the emails and calls coming in from everyone out there, the future is looking very bright! Hopefully see some of you at Repton this evening.
Cheers
Vince
