Kitesurfing and Windsurfing Paradise!

Hey guys, sorry for the delay in bringing you the latest from the Pepper Experience but we've been out of internet access at our wakeboarding camp. Just a quick recap on the past few days:

Saturday was spent at an amazing blue lagoon an hour and a half up the west coast called Langebaan. This is a beautiful spot and a mecca for windsurfing and kitesurfing. This rounded off our kitesurfing and windsurfing courses with perfect conditions throughout the day. The kitesurfers were up and running on their boards for the first time and flying at a pretty ridiculous speed - Enzo and Annie in particular were a sight to remember! I think most of them will be continuing with this exhilarating sport as soon as they can. The wind was seriously strong which gave Maddy the chance to reach the next level of windsurfing - she hopes to teach it over the summer which is definitely possible the rate at which she is progressing in the sport.

Sunday saw the final day for the group in Cape Town - quite emotional for all. We said our goodbyes at Caprice in Camps Bay which lived up to all expectation once again! I think Hattie and Marisa in particular will be sorely missed by the barmen who all seem to be on a first name basis with them already!

With all the newly purchased surf boards strapped to the roof, we left for Misverstand, 2 hours north of Cape Town, for our wakeboarding camp where we are now based until Saturday. Set on a mirror flat river, with mountains in the background, two top class ski boats and our two pros, Andrew and Mike, this is going to be an unbelievable week!

We will upload photos as soon as I can get to internet access again. Until then, take care from all here at Pepper,

cheers Johnny
