Facilities

Kilindi boasts a T-shaped, 24 metre infinity swimming pool which overlooks the beach and ocean.

The bar is spacious with a waterfall feature and an indoor/outdoor dining area. Dining options include romantic dinners on the beach and room service. The kitchen has an organic garden that provides ingredients for meals and an on-site smokery for local fish delicacies.

Rainwater harvesting, solar energy, water treatment and recycling are further evidence of the hotel’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

uShawari spa is part of the resort and offers an amazing pampering experience.

Location

Kilindi is in the north of the island and is about an hours drive from Stone Town and the airport.

When to go

The main rainy season is normally between March and May. There are normally short, heavy, downpours. It is very humid at this time of year and temperatures can reach the high 30's.

The dry season is from June through to October. Temperatures can vary but it's usually really nice weather during this time of the year and is a good time to visit.

November and December can have some fairly light rains and then January and February can clear up again before the start of the heavy rains in March.
