The Olive Grove in Windhoek, Namibia is understated luxury at its best. Conveniently situated just outside the centre of town, it’s already quiet out here, yet you’re still in the city. It seems like a guesthouse but there’s more to it than that; the homely lounge and dining area are comfy and welcoming and when even that’s too much, slip off to the gorgeous bedrooms to soak in that massive bath and the feeling that your holiday in Namibia has well and truly started. If you need further unwinding, indulge in a selection of treatments in the Wellness Room and a time-out in the tranquil walled garden.

The twelve rooms are all en-suite and are unique in their individual design. Huge free-standing baths and all furniture are beautifully decorated with an elegance that you’d expect from an upmarket but engaging boutique hotel. All luxury amenities are standard and privacy is guaranteed.
Take a step up and move into The Garden Suite where two extra length queen size beds and an outdoor day-bed await you. Take your meals on the private veranda over-looking the olive groves, relax on your loungers on the deck and take a dip in the infinity pool for ultimate but still tasteful luxury.

A stop-over in Windhoek is usually just that. If catching your breath in the comfort of Olive Grove and a good meal out isn’t going to do it for you, venture just out of town for sundowner ride on horseback or get immersed in the story of Namibia’s independence at the Alte Feste Museum.
Olive Grove is tucked away in a peaceful leafy suburb called Klein Windhoek but still only a very short distance to the city centre. Windhoek is almost bang in the middle of the country and sits on a plain at 1,650 metres above sea level. Relatively green compared to the rest of the country, the city’s suburbs are in a beautiful valley bordered by the Eros Mountains in the north and the Auas Mountains in the south.
