There is a 25m infinity pool, a short stroll takes you down to a private beach, and there are loungers and sofa’s set on the open deck for the ultimate in summer afternoon relaxation. Cosy winters can be spent aside a log fire place while witnesses the mystical swirl of fog and blustery rains.
The onsite spa provides an array of treatments as well as a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The chef will discuss personal taste and preferences with you and can happily create a menu around your specific needs. The real beauty is being able to dine whenever and wherever – candlelit dinner next to log fire or latern lit on the sea deck.

When to go:
The Garden Route enjoys a mild climate all year round and thus is perfect for outdoor lovers. However, if you are particularly fond of worshipping the sun on its many pristine beaches then the summer months from November to September are recommended. Christmas and New Year are the peak season for local holiday makers and so during this time expect this normally small towns to be brimming with excitement.
If you are particularly interested in trying to spot the majestic Southern Right whales that visit our shores then June to November would be the best time for you.
