The Garden Route enjoys a mild climate all year round and thus is perfect for outdoor lovers. However, if you are particularly fond of worshipping the sun on its many pristine beaches then the summer months from November to September are recommended. Christmas and New Year are the peak season for local holiday makers and so during this time expect this normally small towns to be brimming with excitement.
